TRI® Multi-Centre Post-Market Clinical Follow-up Study
TRI® is performing an official post market clinical follow-up (PMCF) study in alignment with it’s notied body. The study aims to conduct an analysis of critical implant performance criteria of TRI® implants by multiple centres around the globe over several years. The TRI® PMCF study (initiated 2014) is an ongoing study and expanded every year. Results are published at the end of every year. 5 year results with > 120 implants will follow end 2018.
Primary stability assessment of various dental implant systems
THE SOPHISTICATED BIOMECHANICAL DESIGN OF TRI® IMPLANTS (TRI® BONEADAPT) IS DESIGNED TO ACHIEVE HIGH PRIMARY STABILITY.
A high primary stability of dental implants is a key success factor especially with modern treatment concepts such as early or immediate loading. An ongoing in vitro study* evaluates the primary stability of different implants**. The implants were inserted into artificial bone using a torque gage to determine the maximum insertion torque. The table above shows the measured insertion torques from the tested implant systems***.
ACHIEVE EXCELLENT RESULTS WITH THE TRI® SBA SURFACE
Medium-rough large-grit sandblasted and acid etched surfaces (such as the TRI® SBA) offer scientifically proven best results.
The recent BDIZ EDI Implant-Study 2014/2015 compares surfaces of 97 dental implant manufacturers. The TRI® SBA medium-rough surface has received the BDIZ EDI certificate that proofs high precision of the implant thread and cleanliness of the implant surface. The TRI® SBA surface is a medium-rough surface.
DISCOLORATION OF THE MUCOSA CAUSED BY DIFFERENT RESTORATIVE MATERIALS – A SPECTOPHOTOMETRIC IN VITRO STUDY
The discoloration of the mucosa can be reduced by 46% with TRI Pink anodized titanium compared to raw titanium. The effect is comparable to zirconium. In this in vitro study, measurements are performed on pig jaws with a spectophotometric camera, comparing discoloration resulting from different materials.
